Vernon Smith, Chief Executive Officer – CAT Squared
Vernon Smith is Chief Executive Officer of the CAT Squared business unit of CTB, Inc. He joined CTB in 2018 when CAT Squared was acquired.
Smith was a founding member of CAT Squared in 1996, first acting as a Senior Manager, and then becoming Chief Executive Officer in 2014.
Smith earned undergraduate degrees in business economics and computer science from the University of Port Elizabeth, in Port Elizabeth, South Africa, as well as earning his master’s degree in computer science from the same university in 1993. He enjoys cooking, grilling, adventure travel, snowboarding, cycling, kitesurfing and is a wine and microbrew enthusiast.
