Joe Redmond, Vice President and General Manager – Ironwood Plastics
Joe Redmond is Vice President and General Manager for Ironwood Plastics. He joined the company in 2024. In this role, Redmond oversees all aspects of the Ironwood business unit including Administration, Sales, Technology, Engineering, and Operations.
Before Redmond’s current role, he spent nearly 30 years gaining experience in human resources, operations, and general managerial roles. He has served in a variety of capacities, most notably as an executive director of operations for the medical device division of an international consumer products & medical company. Redmond is also a United States Army Veteran.
He is a graduate of Michigan State University, East Lansing, Michigan, where he obtained his B.S. in social science – human resources multidisciplinary program. Redmond also holds a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt Certificate from Bowling Green University, Huron, Ohio.
Currently, Redmond resides in the Ironwood, Michigan area, with his wife. His hobbies include mountain biking, learning about history, and attending theatrical performances.
